1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and use of the online course Calm and Confident: A UK Parent’s Guide to the First Year of Home Education (“the Course”), provided by Abigail Porumb, trading as Calm & Confident (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By purchasing or accessing the Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Course.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase this Course. By purchasing, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Course Access and Licence

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Course for personal, non-commercial use only.
You are granted lifetime access, including any future updates, for as long as the Course is made available by us, unless access is terminated under these Terms.
“Lifetime access” refers to the lifetime of the Course as offered by us, not your lifetime.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the Course at any time, with reasonable efforts to maintain access.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
You agree not to share your login with others.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if account sharing or misuse is suspected.

5. Payment and Pricing

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and may change at any time.
Payment must be made in full before access is granted unless stated otherwise.
Promotional pricing cannot be applied retrospectively.

6. Refund Policy and Digital Content Waiver

Due to the digital nature of the Course:

By purchasing and accessing the Course, you expressly consent to immediate access to digital content.
You acknowledge that by doing so, you waive your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

All sales are final unless otherwise stated.

Any exceptions are at our sole discretion.

In rare cases of technical failure beyond our control, refunds may be considered at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the Course, including videos, texts, downloads, materials and branding (“Calm and Confident”), is the intellectual property of Abigail Porumb.

You may not:

Copy, reproduce, or distribute Course materials.
Share or resell access.
Use content to teach others, run groups, or create otherwise derivative products.
Use content for any commercial purpose.

Unauthorised use may result in immediate termination and legal action.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Share login details.
Engage in abusive, harmful, or disruptive behaviour.
Attempt to copy, hack or misuse the platform.

We may remove access without refund if these Terms are breached.

This licence may be revoked at our discretion if you breach these Terms.

9. Educational Disclaimer

The Course is provided for educational and information purposes only.

It does not constitute legal, educational or professional advice.
Content is based on personal experience, research and a general understanding of home education in the UK.

We do not guarantee:

That the Course will meet your individual needs.
